Tarot Card Meanings
QUESTION: How do I know tarot card meanings? Are they accurate?ANSWER:You shuffle the deck of cards and place them on a table in a certain formation. As you lay out the cards, you get feelings and mental pictures of the meaning of each card. The cards also have their own meanings, such as love, pain, folly, wealth, etc. Plus, each position has significance, such as past, present, and future. You connect the position of the cards with the sensing you get in addition to what the card means, and that is how you get the results.
Tarot card meanings are accurate, but only to a certain degree. I believe that they have a certain amount of accuracy to lure unsuspecting people into looking to them for the answers. Most people seem to share a common experience with the tarot, and that is their readings at the beginning were more accurate than later in their time reading the cards.
I used to be a tarot reader, with a high degree of accuracy. In fact, the very first time I read the cards, I surprised the person who was teaching me! She was astounded by the details I knew of her life. However, the longer I read the cards, the more inaccurate my results became.
Now, looking back on my
experience, I believe Satan used all he knew to give me accurate results in the beginning to lure me into putting my faith in the tarot cards. Those in the spiritual realm, such as angels, demons and even Satan himself, do have some knowledge that we don't of future events. However, since they are not God, they simply cannot know as much as He does. So, when the evil spirits tell us of future events, there may be some truth to what they say, but they also lie about many details. Later, I began to understand the evil associated with tarot cards and I gave me life to Jesus Christ.
I am a firm believer in what Jesus said in Mathew 6:34: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." In other words, there is no point in worrying about the future, as today has enough to worry about!
